This photo was taken in 1921. The bike rider was Walter Boyle; he resided at 1413 Collings Rd. The old Grandstand, on the Ballfield behind Merrimac Rd. at New Jersey Rd., can be seen in the background at the left. Another Fairview trademark of that decade is the trolly tracks that ran down the center of Collings Rd. (immediate background). The store, seen in the background at the right, are still there in the 1400 block of Collings Rd.
