"Michael, thanks for the memories. However there are a few corrections... the original sanctuary is at the back of the church and was built in 1924. It now houses a multi-purpose room, and the restrooms. The church was incorporated in 1920.

"The information for "Fairview Methodist Church" 1886, has nothing to do with our church. That church was located on River Road. There's a lot of confusion regarding the names, but "we" are Fairview Village United Methodist Church (became United in 1968, when the Methodist Church merged with the Evangelical United Brethern Church).

"The first meeting place was Weiss 5 and ten cent store, but I'll have to get the correct address. I'll have more info when I do some research of our historic records. Thanks again, Michael." Margaret Yeager, July 9, 2010
